Welcome to the Owasso Area Directory! This is something I have been thinking about for quite some time and decided to put it in to action.
This site comes from a self-employed mom and long-time resident of Owasso. As time has gone by I’ve seen the need for a site that fellow residents can go to to find a local business or service to fit their needs. As a person that is self-employed I would like to support my fellow business and service owners.
Therefore, the intent of this site is to focus on providing a listing of all the locally-owned businesses and services in the Owasso and surrounding areas for free. However, no MLMs, corporations or large chain stores will be listed here. Maybe one day, we’ll offer a separate site or directory for MLMs.. Even though there are several wonderful local resources to find a business or service, we hope to list all of local businesses and services in one place. We also hope you’ll find it easy to navigate to find the resource(s) you’re looking for.

Have a business or service you’d like to list? Simply, select “Add Listing”, choose a plan and complete the information. It’s our mission to verify that all businesses listed here are truly local, so we will verify each listing before it is published.
Would you like to be a featured listing? We’d love that! This is a win-win situation for both us. You get featured in the home page as well as in the top of the categories you’ve chosen for your business. For us, it helps cover the expenses of operating this website.
Future Plans
Future enhancements or plans include, but not limited to:
- Blog articles – would you like to contribute an article to be featured in this site? Something to think about as we may adjust the plan options to include this in our premium or featured plans. Only because the more we add to our website, at some point we may have to increase storage which adds to the cost.
- Claim your business – we’re adding businesses as we can. But we’d love to have you manage your own listing. In the meantime, if you own a business or know of a business you’d like to see listed here, please contact us.
- Adding google maps – easy to find navigation (unless it’s a home-based business).
- Payment gateway – for the short-term, contact us if you’d like to be a featured business. We’ll also include a 30-day free trial.
- Ratings and/or comments – As a business owner, we’d like your input on this feature, if it’s something you’d like added. Not to compete with Google, Nextdoor or Facebook, but it may be a feature to evaluate in the future.
